Things haven’t necessarily been great for the Buffalo Bills in the field goal kicking department. Steven Hauschka made just 22 of 28 field goals for the second consecutive season last year so Buffalo elected to select a kicker during last week’s NFL Draft.

That new kicker is Tyler Bass and apparently he has one hell of a right leg.

Not every NFL team elects to draft kickers, but based on this video of Bass hitting bombs, the Bills decision to take him in the sixth-round could prove to be a great one.

The former Georgia Southern kicker shared a video of him hitting a 50-yard field goal without taking a single step. He then one-ups himself and takes one single step before draining a 60-yard field goal. The football launches off his foot so quickly the video nearly looks fake, but it’s not.

We need to get a radar on this guy’s leg so we know just how fast he’s moving.

What happens if Bass decides to actually take a few steps back? Can he hit a 75-yard field goal, because based on the video I’m not sure that’s out of the question?

As you would imagine, Bass is pretty elite at touchbacks as well as he created 198 in 268 kickoff attempts during his time at Georgia Southern. He also didn’t miss an extra point during his final two years in college going 81-for-81.
