As the NFL Draft approaches, football fans are expecting to see one of the Qb-needy teams with an early pick pay up to pry the 3rd pick away from the Cardinals.

However, it’s looking like that might not be the only big move we should be on the lookout for over the next few weeks.

Today, ESPN released an article breaking down the latest buzz around the draft and revealed that a couple of AFC contenders could look to move up in the first round of the draft.

According to the report, one of those contenders is the Buffalo Bills, who currently own the 27th pick in the draft.

The Buffalo Bills are another AFC title contender with eyes on moving up, based on what I’ve heard from sources around the league. The Bills will play the board and see who is falling, but with the No. 27 selection, it’s very possible general manager Brandon Beane gets anxious and moves up for an interior offensive lineman or offensive skill player.

If the Buffalo Bills do end up moving up, it seems like there is one name that stands out as the one they would be trying to land. That name is Bijan Robinson.

The team has spent years trying to find the running back that will give some balance to an offense that is very dependent on Josh Allen’s ability to sling it.

Unfortunately, despite drafting Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, and James Cook, and trading for Nyheim Hines in recent years, the Bills running game has continued to lag far behind their passing game.

Robinson is a pretty obvious solution to that issue. He was a stud at Texas and is expected to be a star in the NFL.

In recent years, drafting a running back before the later portion of the 1st round has become an unpopular move, but that might not deter the Bills from making a big trade to finally find their solution at the position.

There are a few other possibilities that have been thrown around, like the Bills drafting a receiver or an O-lineman. Whatever the move ends up being, it looks like Buffalo is ready to deal ahead of the NFL Draft.
