When it comes to extreme sports, freestyle bullfighting may be one of the least known. However, it is one of the most insane and most entertaining.

In a tradition bullfight, like in Spain, a matador teases a bull before ultimately slaying the bovine. In freestyle bullfighting, there is no sword or cape and the bull does not meet an untimely death.

Instead, it is all about scoring the most points through crazy stunts and the ability to avoid getting gored. Bullfighters Only is Freestyle Bullfighting’s Premier Professional League and it’s insane.

Bullfighters jump over bulls, wait until the last possible second to narrowly avoid a charging bull with a slick spin move, and dance their way out of danger. The agility and athleticism necessary to compete in the sport are next level.

Chance Moorman, of Stephenville, Texas, was the 2020 Ultimate Bullfighter World Champion and is consistently ranked near the top of the standings when he isn’t holding the No. 1 spot. He is a master at his craft and as nimble as lightning.

Here is a look at just how crazy the sport really is:

There is a lot of trust placed in both the dirt, a bullfighter’s boots and his balance. If a competitor hits an uneven patch of dirt and the boots slide in a slick, it could result in a full-sized bull having his way with a downed fighter.

It’s intense, to say the least.

To get a feel for the insanity, a recent aerial video of one of Moorman’s fights has gone viral. It provides an incredible perspective of the sport and the sheer adrenaline rush that comes with every moment.

Moorman is one brave S.O.B. and his incredible athleticism is truly a marvel.
