We’ve all been at sporting events where they ask a fan to complete an impossible sports-related task for a sizable amount of cash.

Naturally, the tasks are designed for people to fail. But, that’s not what happened at the Butler Bulldogs game against the Xavier Musketeers on Wednesday.

One lucky fan drilled a 94-foot putt to win $5,000 at the game in an incredible scene. Take a look.

Dude, what a putt! Yes, it’s flat. But, have you ever hit a putt on hardwood? It makes Augusta greens look like fescue. It’s so incredibly fast, and if the ball is off-line even a little it will dive that way quickly. To keep a putt online for 94-feet on hardwood is just incredibly. Quite honestly, this guy might deserve more than $5,000.

Unfortunately, Butler hasn’t been as efficient as this guy this year. After beating Xavier 72-66, they’re just 18-13, with a 9-11 mark in conference play. They will need to win next week’s Big East Tournament to make the Big Dance. Thankfully, this guy can now afford to make the trip.
