Caitlin Clark is fed up with Antonio Brown. The greatest scorer in college basketball history blocked the four-time NFL First Team All-Pro on social media after a barrage of offensive comments.

She was no longer interested in seeing his remarks on her feed.

Brown, who famously quit the NFL in the middle of a game, continues to be involved in controversy at seemingly every turn. This is nothing new. He (or his social media team) is frequently crass online.

Many of his posts target a specific individual. Rarely do they paint said person in a positive light. They are always intended to stir up a reaction and create conversation. There is no bad press for Brown.

A large number of recent posts have been directed toward Clark. Not her play, but her appearance.

Brown has compared Clark to Mel Gibson and Cousin It from the Addams Family on multiple occasions and that only begins to scratch the surface of his remarks. The needless and targeted jabs get increasingly more vulgar from there.

Clark, who is rarely bothered by the haters, decided that enough is enough. She chose to eradicate his presence from her feed. He can tag her all he wants.

The No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft won’t see it.

Of course, Brown wears the “block” as a badge of honor…

Caitlin Clark has said in the past that comments on social media don’t get to her. In this instance, she would rather not deal with one of the more mindless and low-brow personalities on the internet. It is easier to remove herself from the situation instead of subjecting herself to Antonio Brown and his army of followers who repeat back what he says without considering what it actually means.

Unfortunately, it might fuel Brown’s fire…
