Caitlin Clark is bullied by her opponents more than any other player in the WNBA. She added a lot of muscle to her frame in response to the physical play and her arms look like pythons.
The 23-year-old went extremely viral for her new physique while on national television!
Before we go any further, lets first acknowledge the physicality of the WNBA. This has been a thing long before Clark’s arrival in 2024. These women go at each other. They constantly push and shove. The hand fighting does not stop from the opening tip to the final buzzer. It is a 40-minute battle.
I personally think the amount of physicality is a really good thing for the league. Fouls slow down the game and the tough play makes women’s basketball more interesting to watch. It also creates more drama!
Paige Bueckers got rocked in her pro debut. Kelsey Plum ripped the officials for a severe lack of foul calls earlier this month. Angel Reese dared the WNBA to fine her for similar criticism.
This applies to more than just Caitlin Clark.
Caitlin Clark is fighting back.
With all of that being said, the reigning Rookie of the Year completely changed her physique over the last 15 months in an effort to combat the lack of fouls. She gets bumped… a lot!

The battle scars are there to prove it.

Clark even joked that she gets hit so often that she might actually be off-balance when she doesn’t!
“Did you warm up by getting bumped a lot?”

Caitlin: “Well that would make me pretty tired before a game…I’ll even do a little bit pregame where there is contact…I mean if I don’t get hit maybe I’m off balance at this point. I don’t know. Something to look into.”

The additional gives her the strength to absorb contact and stay balanced!

Clark’s offseason workout routine focused on a few different things. All of the targeted efforts on strength paid off in a big way. She added more than 10 pounds of weight to her frame so her jacked arms are absolutely massive.
More muscle, less problems!
Caitlin Clark stays in the gym even as she plays through the regular season. Her hard work was on full display prior to her first pro game against Bueckers when ESPN cut to the bench.

Two specific frames from the above video went extremely viral on social media.

Her arms look huge— and toned. Especially her biceps.

I knew Caitlin Clark was jacked but this is a whole new level. I genuinely don’t think I could beat her if we were to arm wrestle. WNBA veterans try to bully the league’s biggest star as often as they can so she responded by getting yoked.
