The Caleb Williams era at USC has officially begun. After a wild offseason journey that resulted in Oklahoma’s head coach and starting quarterback leaving Norman for Los Angeles, the bar is set with College Football Playoff aspirations in mind.

Everybody around the program is excited. Especially QB1.

The Trojans opened spring practice on Tuesday afternoon on a gorgeous day in Southern California. One by one the players came out from the Trojans’ remarkable team facility and out into the sunshine. Eventually, after much anticipation, out came Williams.

As the future of USC ran out of the facility and toward the practice field, he threw up the signature ‘V for Victory,’ as the Trojans do.

However, the first-day thrill got the best of him. Williams was so pumped up to get out onto the field that he forgot where the field was.

He ran out of the tunnel, flashed the ‘Fight On’ and took off running to the left. The only problem was that the entrance to the practice field is most definitely not to the left. Nor is it to the right.

The entrance was directly in front of Williams as he ran up from underground, he just totally missed it. He got caught up in all of the excitement and ran right by.

Eventually, after the hilarious moment, Williams got some help. A few people pointed him in the right direction and he finally found his way onto the practice field for his first official practice with USC and his new/old head coach Lincoln Riley.
