Callum Hudson-Odoi, a 23-year-old winger who currently plays for Nottingham Forest and used to play for Chelsea in the Premier League, had to release a statement about NOT being on the “Epstein List” following the publication of court documents earlier this week.

The reason that Hudson-Odoio has found himself lumped into the Jeffrey Epstein story is that the smooth-brain conspiracy theorists on the internet have been using a list that purportedly details the first celebrities to get COVID as a list of Epstein clients.

During the first week of January, however, 943 pages of documents in relation to the Epstein trial/investigation were released and Hudson-Odoi was, obviously, not named in any of them. Still, the former Chelsea player felt the need to make a statement, likely due to the abuse he was receiving on social media.

“I have seen this circulating social media for a while now, and I wasn’t going to comment on it as it is absurd (and I would’ve been a child at the time); however, understanding my position as a role model, I would like to make it absolutely clear that I have never been part of the Epstein scandal nor have I ever been to Epstein island, so please stop tagging me in these posts,” the English football posted on his Instagram Story.

While Hudson-Odoi’s name was not found on the “Epstein list”, people such as Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, David Copperfield, and Prince Andrew were.

So far this season, Hudson-Odoi has made 11 Premier League appearances for Nottingham and has scored one goal. Hudson-Odoi signed a three-year deal with the club in September 2023 and scored his first goal during his debut match against Burnley Football Club on September 18, 2023.
