New York Giants special teamer Cam Brown refused to let Philadelphia Eagles punter Braden Mann get away with flop attempt, giving him a bear hug to avoid a penalty.

The hilarious play resulted in an immediate viral moment as viewers posted reactions to social media.

On a second quarter punt attempt, Brown’s momentum carried him into Mann. The punter tried his best to draw the flag after the first sign of contact, but Brown wouldn’t let it happen.

As Mann tried to flop, Brown gave him a big hug, ensuring he wouldn’t hit the ground.

And it worked!

Carrying the kicker five yards into the endzone, Cam Brown’s bear hug kept the laundry off the field. The officiating crew kept those flags in their pockets with Mann staying (somewhat!) on his feet.

NFL fans online immediately reacted to the hilarious embrace.

“He swept him off his feet.”

“Buddy was NOT going to get a flag.”

“Bro kept trying to flop while being hugged.”

“No fall, no flag!”

“Comforting the kicker, five-yard penalty.”

It was a busy day for Mann, who punted three times in a scoreless first half for the Eagles.

Philadelphia is already in the playoffs, looking destined for the No. 5 seed thanks to the Cowboys’ most recent performance against the Commanders.

The Giants, meanwhile, will end the year on a high note after entering the season’s final week at 5-11.
