Canelo Alvarez wants big money to fight rival 168-pound David Benavidez.

On Saturday night, Canelo put on a vintage performance, breaking down the much younger Jaime Munguia on his way to a landslide unanimous decision victory.

During his in-ring post-fight interview, Canelo was asked about David Benavidez, who has been calling to fight Canelo for years, and he said he would fight his rival for the right price.

“I don’t know right now. I’m gonna rest, I’m gonna enjoy my family. But if the money is right, I can fight right now. I don’t give a s—. I fought with everybody they said I’m not gonna fight, I fought all of them. So right now, I can do whatever I want. And I’m Mexican.”

After his post-fight press conference, Canelo told the media that he wanted $200 million for fight vs Benavidez.

Canelo usually fights in September, so it’ll be interesting to see who he decides to fight next in the coming months.
