The National Football League’s My Cause My Cleats campaign is an annual initiative that allows players to raise awareness for causes they support through custom through gameday cleats on Sunday.
800 players plan to participate in The My Cause, My Cleats initiative this year which has become an annual tradition in the league since its inception in 2016.
This year, Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is dedicating his cleats made by famed graphic designer “The Shoe Surgeon” to the Call of Duty Endowment to honor his grandfather.
For this year’s @NFL #MyCauseMyCleats I teamed up with @callofdutyendowment in honor of my late grandfather, a veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He’d be proud of the work they’re doing to help veterans find meaningful jobs, just like I’m proud @callofduty has such a great cause behind it! 🙏🏾
According to their website, The Call of Duty Endowment “helps veterans find high quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the value vets bring to the workplace.”
Here’s a closer look at the cleats.
