The Georgia Bulldogs have the tall task of replacing two-time national champion Stetson Bennett under center in 2023. With that being said, a three-man battle at the quarterback position is now in full swing.

Junior Carson Beck, Sophomore Brock Vandagriff, and Freshman Gunner Stockton are jockeying to lead the UGA offense this coming fall, and if the ‘Dawgs side with experience, it could be Beck’s job to lose.

The former four-star recruit has played sparingly over the last few seasons, competing in 10 games. In that time, he’s completed more than 62% of his passes while tossing six touchdowns and a pair of interceptions.

While the numbers certainly won’t blow anyone away, he’s undoubtedly the most game-tested signal caller on the Bulldogs’ roster.

Georgia fans would rather Beck make headlines on the football field, but this week, he’s going viral for the wrong reasons.

We’ve seen issues within the UGA locker room of late. Speeding, street racing, bar fights, and more have many believing there’s a culture problem in Athens.

Beck’s indiscretion doesn’t reach the severity of those prior incidents, but it has to make fans question his decision-making abilities.

A Snapchat photo is now floating around social media in which the passer allegedly shoots his shot with a female friend.

Fans have been quick to comment.

One UGA supporter wrote, “Well, it looks like we can expect him to be assertive if he is QB1.”

Another football follower said, “Your team’s QB wished he had rizz like this.”

Carson Beck might be looking to cash in on his growing role under center. We’ll see if he’s ultimately successful in securing the starting role.
