The Cavs could be interested in reuniting Bronny James and his father, LeBron, next season.
Earlier this week, LeBron announced that he was leaving the Lakers, and was interested in signing with a team contending for a championship.
“The bottom line is LeBron James and the Lakers just simply didn’t see eye to eye on what it meant to try to compete for a championship. Essentially, to try to compete at the highest levels,” Charania said on SportsCenter. “LeBron James makes the decision six hours before the start of free agency to let the Lakers know that he is moving on.”
According to Marc Stein, the Cavs are interested in trading for Bronny to lure LeBron into signing with them.

Bronny currently has a two-year contract with the Lakers, with $2.3 million guaranteed this season and a $2.5 million team option next year.
According to LeBron’s agent, Rich Paul, nearly every team in the league has reached out to sign LeBron this offseason.
“The other day, I said 10-12 teams reached out, as of today, outside of one organization, maybe two. I’ve heard from every team in the entire league.”
