  • Although Cedric Harden Jr. has yet to play a full season at wide receiver, he is well on his way to becoming a beast.
  • The Class of 2023 recruit switched schools and positions during the offseason and is focused on playing in college.
  • He made one of the craziest one-handed catches of all-time during 7-on-7s over the weekend.

Class of 2023 college football recruit Cedric Harden Jr. is not getting the recognition he deserves. His talent is off the charts and he proved to be one of the most dynamic players in the country with one of the most ridiculous, insane one-handed catches that you will ever see over the weekend.

Harden Jr. stands 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. He hails from Texas and previously played quarterback at Cedar Hill before transferring to DeSoto for his senior season this fall.

However, he will be playing receiver.

Despite the position switch, Harden Jr. has offers from Tulane, Wyoming, Arizona, Georgia Tech, SMU, UTSA and Kansas, among others. There is still a long way to go in his recruitment and he is certain to pick up quite a few more offers before making his decision.

Harden Jr.’s tape is ridiculous. He is a freak athlete.

Part of the reason that Harden Jr. may not be as highly-touted as he should be is because he doesn’t have any film as a receiver. At least, he didn’t.

Over the weekend, DeSoto won the Texas 7-on-7 Division I State Championship. Harden Jr. was a large contributor at the receiver position.

He gained a lot of attention throughout the tournament.

And rightfully so. Cedric Harden Jr. made a one-handed catch that is truly unbelievable.

I have watched a lot of one-handed grabs in my day, but this one in particular stands out as one of the best that I have ever seen.

Here’s another look at Harden Jr.’s insane catch:

Harden Jr.’s offer list is going to grow during his first (and only) season at DeSoto this fall. It may take some time for him to adjust to the position, but once he is full acclimated — which it looks like he already may be — he is going to be a monster for whatever school can best keep him a secret and get him to campus.
