Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had a career year in 2023, He established himself as one of the best wide receivers in all the National Football League.

In fact, you can make a pretty good argument that CeeDee Lamb is a top-five wide receiver in the league right now.

The Oklahoma product went nuclear last season. The Cowboys wide receiver caught 135 passes for 1,789 yards and 12 touchdowns. He helped quarterback Dak Prescott to a career year.

Lamb had eight games of over 100 yards receiving in the regular season, and another one in the team’s disappointing playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers. Few receivers can run the whole route tree as well as Lamb. He’s always been excellent after the catch at breaking tackles and making guys miss, and he’s truly a complete wide receiver at just 24-years-old.

But, when asked to name his top five wide receiver on superstar teammate Micah Parsons’ podcast, The Edge With Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb named five wide receivers other than himself.

Assuming that list is in no particular order, it’s a pretty good list. All five of those guys are definitely elite.

I think That most people would put Justin Jefferson and Tyreek Hill in a top tier by themselves. Those two are clearly the best two receivers in the league, in my opinion.

But, I think CeeDee Lamb belongs in a tier with Stefon Diggs, Ja’Marr Chase, and Davante Adams. If anything, Stefon Diggs, who had a slow second half of the season in Buffalo, shouldn’t be in that next tier. CeeDee Lamb’s divisional rival, Eagles wideout, AJ Brown, probably should be on it instead of Diggs.

Overall, though, a good list by CeeDee Lamb. Credit to him for not putting himself in the list, even though he definitely could be included.
