We’re likely going to see a ton of massive trades this offseason, especially with the NBA Draft kicking off on Thursday.

The Phoenix Suns got the trades rolling after acquiring Bradley Beal, but it sounds like the Boston Celtics have a deal they’re zeroing in on.

According to Shams Charania, the Celtics are in “strong talks” with the Washington Wizards and LA Clippers that would send Kristaps Porzingis to Boston.

Additionally, Malcolm Brogdon would be involved in the trade as well and he’s expected to be dealt to the Clippers. Here is Charania’s full report.

If this deal comes to fruition, Boston surely remains on top of the Eastern Conference. The thought of Porzingis teaming up with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown is tantalizing.

The Clippers receive a solid guard who would really help them in the backcourt while the Wizards acquire future assets to help with their rebuild.

Clearly, the league’s best teams in the league are in an arms race to improve their chances to be title contenders next season.

Now, it’s important to note that this deal isn’t finalized just yet. However, based on Charania’s wording, the trade could be finalized soon.

If that’s the case, then the Celtics will be an incredibly dangerous club with a trio of stars who can compete with anybody, especially with Kristaps Porzingis on the roster.

With that said, keep an eye out for more trade news, as more trade news should be rolling in soon. Make sure to tune into the NBA Draft on Thursday night at 8 P.M. Eastern.
