Chargers fans are angry that the Chiefs may have gotten a bit of help from the refs on the field this afternoon.
In the fourth quarter, Patrick Mahomes was able to find Tyreek Hill on a long touchdown to make it 17-15. After the touchdown, Hill took his helmet off which is an obvious unsportsmanlike penalty that the refs didn’t call on the field. The Chargers would have had the option to assess the 15-yard penalty on the two-point conversion attempt, which the Chiefs eventually converted.
FYI Tyreek Hill, who never gets called for taunting, took his helmet off after his TD, which is a penalty and should of put the 2 pt conversation try at the 17 yard line but refs did nothing and Mahomes easily converted and tied the game

Chargers fans weren’t happy with the missed call.
So we’re just gonna act like Tyreek Hill didn’t take his helmet off in the end zone after the touchdown? That’s a 15 yard penalty on the extra point/2 point attempt.

So Gene Steratore just explains that Tyreek Hill should have been flagged 15 yards for taking off his helmet on his long touchdown, which would have made it a 17-yard try for the two-point conversion. How do the refs miss this??!?!?!?!

So annoying: the 2-point conversion for #KCvsLAC never should have happened b/c Tyreek Hill took off his helmet IMMEDIATELY after the play ended. That’s a fucking penalty!

We know that NFL refs don’t want to blow that many whistles this year.
Don’t know how they missed Tyreek Hill taking off his helmet.
Completely impacted the two point try.

That 2-point conversion should have been from the 18-yard line because Tyreek Hill took off his helmet after his TD catch. Tony Romo is right: “Only the Chiefs.” #chiefs #chargers #KCvsLAC https://t.co/G6omeDAa6Z
