Chargers head coach Brandon Staley might not make the trip back from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.
Two weeks ago, ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported that Staley could be on the hot seat if the Chargers don’t make the playoffs this season.
“Brandon Staley could be on the hot seat with the Chargers if they don’t make the playoffs. I don’t think anybody ever knows what Houston is going to do. And both Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick are at the age where people are going to keep one eye on those spots for potential openings when and if those guys decide to walk away.”
On Thursday night, the Chargers got embarrassed by the Las Vegas Raiders and trailed 42-0 at halftime.
Even Kirk Herbstreit had to comment on the situation during the game.
“I’m not into piling on a guy. But I know Brandon Staley — he was on a hot seat when this season started — is trending right now on Twitter because of the way this game is going.”

Despite the fact that Justin Herbert wasn’t playing due to an injury, fans still blamed Staley and want him fired immediately for the team’s performance vs the Raiders.

Brandon Staley should’ve been fired a year or 2 ago.
If he makes it past this weekend there should be no more Chargers fans. It will be abundantly clear that team is not interested in success
