Jimmy Butler put on another classic postseason performance against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.

Despite trailing for much of the game, the Heat ultimately won by a score of 119-114 thanks to an insane 56-point performance from Jimmy Butler, which was capped by a clutch three-pointer to give the Heat a 3-point lead with just about a minute to play.

Perhaps most impressively, Butler put up the 56 points by making 19 of his 28 attempted field goals.

Following the game, Butler was receiving praise from all corners of the NBA world. During the game itself, analyst and Hall of Famer Reggie Miller said Butler’s performance in Game 4 against the Bucks — which included nine rebounds, two assists, and a block to go along with his 56 points  — was the greatest postseason performance in the history of the Miami Heat organization.

Then, following the game, a stunned Charles Barkley said on Inside The NBA that Butler’s 56-point game was “the best performance he’s seen” since he started working for TNT over 20 years ago. Barkley said that the previous best playoff performance he’d ever seen was when LeBron scored 25 straight points to beat the Detroit Pistons in the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals.

“The best performance I’ve ever seen in the playoffs was the night LeBron scored 29 out of 30 at Detroit. We were actually at that game. 25 straight and 29 out of 30. That was the best game I’d seen in the playoffs, personally. Until tonight,” Barkley said.

“That was the best performance I’ve seen since I’ve been on television. It was flat-out incredible. It was an honor and privilege to watch it. But, man, that guy was not going to let them lose tonight.

Thanks to their Game 4 win, the eighth-seeded Miami Heat now hold a 3-1 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks, who are not only the top seed in the Eastern Conference but the overall top seed in the NBA. Now, they find themselves in a situation where they have to win three straight against Playoff Jimmy and the rest of the Miami Heat.
