Chase Claypool Was BUZZIN’ After Teammates Gave Him His 1st Dip To Celebrate The Win Vs. Tampa

Chase Claypool experienced a first in Pittsburgh’s recent win over Tampa Bay, and his reaction to milestone the was priceless.

The experience didn’t come on the field, though the pass catcher did haul in all seven of his targets for a season-high 96 yards. He also scored what wound up being the game-winning touchdown in the Steelers 20-18 victory.

Rather, the landmark came in the team’s postgame celebration after taking down Tom Brady and Co.

Chase Claypool was given a pinch of dip for the first time.

And after doing some digging, it appears it was a nice, healthy lip of Copenhagen. Long cut. The good stuff.

Claypool was buzzin’ after the game, hardly being able to focus on the postgame interviews. Luckily, the hilarious moment was captured on camera in the locker room.

“It feels awesome. Gunner, come here really quick… he gave me a celebratory dip, it’s my first time ever. I can’t really with all these lights, but it feels good.”

The dip came from teammate Gunner Olszewski, a reserve wide receiver and return specialist on the Pittsburgh roster. Olszewski hails from the great state of Texas, not surprising now seeing his affinity for chew.

He said Claypool handled the dip “like a champ,” though it looks like he’s getting a nice nicotine headrush with the bright lights of the cameras surrounding him.

The Steelers might be hoping this becomes a postgame tradition as they look to turn their season around. The win over the Buccaneers was just Pittsburgh’s second on the year, snapping a four-game losing streak.

They’ll take on the Dolphins next week with a chance to move to 3-4. If the Steelers continue to win, Claypool will be a seasoned vet before the year’s through.
