Even A Chiefs Player Can’t Believe Their Playoff Game Is Only Airing On Peacock

Many NFL fans are upset on Sunday when it was revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff game against the Miami Dolphins will only be available to be seen on Peacock.

The game will air on Saturday night at 8 p.m. on a streaming service that only has a little over 30 million paid subscribers.

By comparison, ESPN reaches around 72.5 million homes and every house in America can get the four major networks.

Even one Chiefs player, defensive end Charles Omenihu, agrees that it’s a strange decision for their game to air on Peacock only.

Apparently, NBC Universal has lined the NFL’s pockets so much that the league doesn’t care that one of their marquee playoff match-ups will only be seen by Peacock subscribers.

NFL fans who don’t live in the Buffalo or Los Angeles areas were already not happy that the Bills and Chargers game that aired on Dec. 23 was put behind a paywall on Peacock.

So why, besides being paid to do so, would the NFL hide Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and company behind one during the playoffs?

Oh… right…

Taylor Swift.

So will it work? According to a very informal poll on X of 235 people (as of this writing), 71.9% will not be subscribing to Peacock so they can watch the Chiefs and Dolphins.

As anyone can clearly see from the TikTok video below, we have all the evidence we need to prove without a shadow of a doubt that the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift relationship is fake and merely a marketing ploy to drive viewers to the NFL, and now Peacock.

Naturally, because #NFLRigged, that isn’t the only conspiracy theory to have arisen following the NFL playoff seedings being finalized.

Well played, NFL. Well played.
