Things are starting to get interesting in the NFL right now as the Kansas City Chiefs are set to make a surprising decision.
This choice could prove to be costly for the reigning Super Bowl champions.
According to Adam Schefter, the Chiefs are going to release star pass rusher Frank Clark from the roster. Here are the full details.
Chiefs and Frank Clark’s agent Erik Burkhardt were unable to find common ground on a reworked deal during several conversations at the combine and the expectation now is that Kansas City will release the 29-year-old DE who is the NFL’s third all-time leading postseason sack… https://t.co/IqjwATIWSt

Clark has been a major contributor to the defense over the years. Especially when it comes to the postseason.
Even so, Kansas City won’t bring him back to the roster in 2023. So now, the Chiefs will have to find his replacement. A task much easier said than done.
Meanwhile, pretty much everyone else chiming in hoping for their favorite team to sign the former Chiefs’ pass rusher.

Keep an eye on Clark throughout free agency. He’s likely going to fetch plenty of interest from teams across the league.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs will have to address the hole left on the roster with Frank Clark out of the picture.
