NBC announcer Chris Collinsworth has a new favorite buzzword and it’s driving viewers crazy.
All night long, Collinsworth couldn’t stop talking about Russell Wilson’s high-arcing “moon ball” throw.
Nice to see commentators finally giving @DangeRussWilson his due. Love the moonball animation! 💙💚 #SEAvsAZ #Seahawks pic.twitter.com/CqbBjYV6Bi

By the end of the game fans were sick and tired of Collinsworth’s repeated use of ‘moon ball”
I’m proud of Collinsworth learning a new term in “moon ball” but his overuse is ruining it for the rest of us.

What’s the obsession with the term “moon ball” tonight. I don’t think I’ve ever heard that term before but they’re wearing it out.

If I have to hear about another moon ball I'm going to throw my shoe at the TV

Someone pull "moon ball" OUT of Collinsworth's vocabulary, please. Oh, and also take him off my football broadcasts. On another note, how 'bout Tyler Lockett??? #EMAW

If anyone is drinking every time Collinsworth is saying “moon ball” tonight, just pass out and go to bed and we’ll catch you up in the morning.

Is Collinsworth getting a bonus every time he says “moon ball” on this broadcast? #SNF #RedSea

Hopefully, Collinsworth retires the term moon ball after this game.
