Chris Johnson was dominant during his time with the Titans. The now-retired running back ran for at least 1,000 yards in his six seasons in Tennessee, rushed for a whopping 2,006 yards in just his second year in the league back in 2009 and made three straight Pro Bowls between 2008-10.

Then he decided to sign with the Jets in 2014, which is a decision he very clearly regrets.

Johnson hopped on Twitter on Monday and randomly sent out a tweet asking himself “how did I pick going to jets over Baltimore Ravens in 2014 what a bad decision!!!’ He wasn’t holding a Q&A or anything like that, he just wanted to put that thought out into the world which surely ruffled the feathers of Jets fans.

A former Jets player just sitting in isolation right now reminiscing about his time in New York is a scary thought.

He also tweeted that money wasn’t a factor either and that the Ravens offered him the same amount of money, but he elected to sign a three-year, $9 million contract with New York in 2014. He went on to rush for just 663 yards in 2014 and was released after the season despite having two years left on his deal.

It’s worth noting that 2014 was Rex Ryan’s final year in charge of the Jets and the team went 4-12 that season.

Johnson also tweeted that he wanted to play his entire career with Tennessee, but the franchise clearly had different plans.

CJ 2K never did find that same form he had with the Titans during the rest of his career. After a disappointing season in New York, he signed with the Cardinals playing in just 19 games over the next three seasons. He did rush for 814 yards in his first year with Arizona, but things went downhill during what were his final two seasons in the league.
