The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar is just around the corner as teams across the world prepare for the highly coveted soccer tournament. It should be a fun one, as Team USA was able to qualify this year. With that in mind, superstar Christian Pulisic reveals his sky-high goals for his team in this year’s tournament.
According to The Athletic, the Team USA star claims he “feels physically and mentally ready for a World Cup he believes has the potential to propel the USMNT and American soccer to the next level on the global stage.”

Those are pretty lofty goals considering Team USA hasn’t been all that great over the years. Typically, USMNT is the laughingstock of the soccer world while the Women’s Team does nothing but dominate. But hey, Christian Pulisic is a stud in his own right and definitely provides a spark this squad hasn’t had before.
Perhaps the FIFA World Cup can be the tournament that finally puts the USA on the map. If that’s the case, then the tournament in Qatar is a big one for the USMNT. With Christian Pulisic leading the way, Team USA will have a fighting chance.
