Christian Wilkins isn’t just a big man, but the Miami Dolphins defender also happens to have a pretty big personality. He showed that during his time with the Clemson Tigers while in college, and, while his rookie campaign hasn’t gotten off to a huge start this season, he’s still playing with emotion — albeit, it has gotten him into trouble once already this year.
But, if we’re being honest, we like when our pro athletes humanize themselves, right? We like for them to have fun. We want them to show emotion. We prefer they don’t give us the same PC bullshit after every single play. And, in Christian Wilkins’ case, he definitely didn’t do that during the Dolphins-Eagles game the other day after a crazy touchdown.
For those who missed it, the Dolphins ran the most absurd trick play ever against the Eagles, lining up in a funky formation, then having their punter run towards the center of the field to toss to their kicker for a touchdown. It truly was mind-boggling, and it worked to perfection. Take a look at it below.

To say that was incredible would be an understatement. And as pretty as the fake field goal and touchdown was, the reaction from one Christian Wilkins afterwards was even better — because the big man didn’t hold back in celebrating, as cameras caught him pointing and laughing at every single Eagles player.

It’s one thing for the Eagles to get duped on a wild fake FG like this. But it’s a whole different thing to lose to the Miami Dolphins — a team who many believe are tanking for the chance to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft — and then get punked out by a guy like Christian Wilkins, who is still only a rookie and clearly showed no mercy in laughing at them. No wonder there’s a petition from Eagles fans to make the team walk back from Miami after the pathetic loss, because this is all sorts of embarrassing for a team expected to compete for a Super Bowl this year.
