Early Thursday morning the sports world woke up to one of the biggest trades in NBA history.
Kevin Durant is now playing for the Phoenix Suns and the news shook the league to its core.
Adrian Wojnarowski shares the details of the trade.
The Suns are sending Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round picks, a 2028 pick swap for Durant and TJ Warren, sources tell ESPN. Durant wanted move and new owner Mat Ishbia pushed to get deal done tonight. https://t.co/fqFUMIDllo

The Western Conference is now absolutely stacked with Kevin Durant joining the Suns. There are plenty of shocked reactions, but New Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum may have had the funniest one.
McCollum reverts back to when Ja Morant claimed he and the Memphis Grizzlies are fine in the Western Conference. Since that statement, the team has mightily struggled.
Now, Kevin Durant is in the same conference and CJ McCollum blames Ja Morant for it.
This all because @JaMorant said he was good in the West 😂😂😂

Even if you’re a Grizzlies fan, that’s a pretty funny troll from McCollum. There is no way Morant feels as comfortable as he did with Durant in Phoenix.
On top of that, the Los Angeles Lakers made a trade to improve their chances of making a title run as well. So, overall, a loaded Western Conference just became more competitive.
We’ll see how the rest of the regular season unfolds. But all eyes are on the playoffs to see who is the top dog in the West now that Kevin Durant is on the Suns.
