Nobody in College Football does a better job at marketing themselves than University of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders who has received more talk than any figure in the game since ditching Jackson State for the Buffaloes.

Now, in a bid to show the world what’s old is new again, not dissimilar from Deion Sanders’ career path where he’s been on fire the past few years, Coach Prime is attempting to make flip phones cool again by signing a new deal with Boost Mobile to release a limited edition Coach Prime phone.

The limited edition Motorola Razr is black and gold for the University of Colorado and features Deion Sanders‘ mantra “You Gotta Believe” as well as his signature in gold.

In a press release from Boost Mobile, Deion Sanders offered up some choice quotes surrounding his new flip phone release. Saying “I’m all about connectivity and BABY, WE GOT THAT! It’s been A BLESSING to spend the past couple of months getting to know this WONDERFUL team. Learning what they’ve achieved, what they BELIEVE, and most importantly HOW they aspire to continue to push the envelope.

Sanders added “First and foremost, my signature motorola razr is NEXT LEVEL and I wanna see each and every darn one of you rocking these! But what I’m most excited about is to be a part of the FAMILY that is building the most modern 5G wireless network all while offering the most competitive wireless plans that can reach EVERYBODY. Like I said, I’m all about connectivity and WE GOT YOU COVERED on every darn aspect!

It is a surprisingly affordable device. Boost Mobile customers can get it for just $149.99 on the company’s website while new customers can get it for free if they sign up for Boost Mobile’s accompanying plan.

Maybe I’m just used to paying a small mortgage payment for iPhones every time I get a new one but I wasn’t aware that there were phones in existence that didn’t cost as much as a bottle of Left Bank Bordeaux.
