Colin Cowherd Had To Stop Mid-Segment On Luka Doncic Because He Was About To Barf On Live TV

Colin Cowherd on The Herd

FS1 / The Herd

Don’t worry folks, Colin Cowherd is doing okay. But viewers might’ve assumed otherwise while watching today’s episode of The Herd on FS1 and Fox Sports when Cowherd had to abruptly end his rant on Luka Doncic, saying he was about to be sick.

From the visible gagging, it appeared as if Cowherd was about to barf on live television. He certainly made the smart choice to sent the show to commercial and apologize to the viewers. Had he actually gotten ill on live TV it might have been the most-distracting story of his career.

Awful Announcing clipped the moment from The Herd and shared it on X:

After a lengthy 7-minute commercial break The Herd came back and it was Jason Mcintyre filling in for Colin who was, presumably, staring down the bottom of a trash receptacle or hugging a porcelain throne. After things settled down, The Herd sent out a post on X (née Twitter) assuring viewers/fans that Colin Cowherd was okay.

The message read “Colin is doing OK. Thank you for your concerns. Colin is under the weather and Jason Mcintyre is filling in.”

After that, things were business as usual. Jason Mcintyre picked up the Luka discussion where Colin left off, referring to it as a “passing of the torch” in Los Angeles.

I’m not a doctor but given the abrupt nature of Colin having to get off camera before becoming ill on live TV it seems there are a handful of ailments he could be suffering from. I’ve sadly, endured all of the ones that are coming to mind and I wouldn’t wish those on anyone. Hopefully Colin Cowherd can make a swift recovery from whatever sidelined him.
