Indiana upset #8 Penn State 36-35 in overtime on Saturday and the game ended on a wild 2-point conversion that is causing a bit of controversy on the Twittersphere.
During the overtime period, Penn State scored a touchdown and kicked an extra point to take a 35-28 lead
Indiana immediately responded with a TD pass from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. to Whop Philyor. The Hoosiers decided to go for two to win the game and converted when Penix Jr scrambled, dove towards the end zone and stretched out his arm to hit the pylon with the ball.

Hard to tell from this angle, but to me it looks like the ball crossed the plane before hitting ground of bounds https://t.co/OTwTwHfIdR

I don’t get why people are upset about this. In real time it’s clearly a touchdown call and there is no way in hell to be able to overturn that. Call stands. Good night. https://t.co/RTMXzgbDrm

Inches away from touching the pylon. @BigTen should fire their officials. https://t.co/w9f9jQZSSy
