In the wake of the unusual contract situation between the Indianapolis Colts and star running back Jonathan Taylor, NFL teams are reportedly expressing interest in acquiring the All-Pro player.

According to a report from NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, several general managers across the league are planning to reach out to the Colts to inquire about a possible trade.

The situation escalated when Jonathan Taylor requested a trade due to contract disagreements. However, Colts’ owner Jim Irsay publicly stated that he has no intention of trading the talented running back.

Despite the statement by Irsay, the growing interest from other NFL teams could put the Colts in a challenging position.

Rapoport revealed that “at least” a couple of teams have expressed their intentions to initiate trade discussions with the Colts concerning Taylor’s availability.

The key issue for any potential trade would willingness to make a legitimate contract offer for the star running back, and Rapoport believes those teams will do that.

Jonathan Taylor has been a standout player for the Colts, displaying exceptional performance and earning All-Pro honors. With trade talks now in the mix, the situation remains fluid, and the NFL community will be closely watching the developments surrounding Taylor’s future.
