New Report Says Condoleezza Rice Will Help Pick The New Denver Broncos Coach

Former Packer offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett was hired away from Green Bay as head coach to put the Denver Broncos into Super Bowl contention. But, he was an abject disaster.

The Broncos season never got off on the right foot, as they lost to the Seattle Seahawks in humiliating fashion week one. And, they now sit at 4-11, long gone from playoff consideration.

A lot of the blame falls on a putrid season from acquired quarterback Russell Wilson. Denver sold the farm for the former Seahawk, and all he has done is lead the league’s worst offense.

So, the day after their Christmas Day 51-14 drubbing at the hands of the Los Angeles Rams, they fired Hackett. Unfortunately for Broncos fans, the firing was not directly into the sun.

Now, they must find a new coach. And, they’ve enlisted the help of an interesting name to do so.

Condoleezza Rice will help the Denver Broncos pick their next coach

Condoleezza Rice is one of the most accomplished women of the modern era. The Stanford graduate served as National Security Advisor and Secretary of State under President George W. Bush. Since then, she has gained membership to Augusta National, was on the College Football Playoff Committee, and was even rumored as a head coaching candidate for the Cleveland Browns a few years ago.

Now, she will be helping the Broncos choose their next coach.

This did not go over well with some fans, though.

Then again, it’s going to be hard to find someone worse than Hackett.
