Conor McGregor Calls Out Floyd Mayweather To Sign Contract And Prove He’s Not ‘Just A Mouth’

Conor McGregor appears to be getting tired of waiting for Floyd Mayweather to sign his end of the deal to make their superfight happen.

McGregor has reportedly already signed his part of the contract to make the fight happen, which is going to make him SO FREAKING RICH, but thus far Mayweather has not.

In a statement issued to TheMacLife.com, McGregor confirmed that his part of the deal has been finalized.

“It is an honour to sign this record breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fighting Championship and Paradigm Sports Management,” McGregor said.

“The first, and most important part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on. Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon and his boxer’s signature in the coming days.”

Mayweather, who openly admitted that McGregor does stand a fighting chance against him, is, for some reason (money), right now the only and final obstacle to the megafight taking place.

And now it appears that “The Notorious One” is getting impatient and called out the boxing champ on social media over the weekend to get the deal done.

“Solid work today. Sign your end Floyd or you are just a mouth.”

Just a few days ago Mayweather was interviewed by Showtime and even he agreed that the fight with McGregor makes perfect sense for him…

“I had a great career and my career may not be over,” he said. “Number 50 may be against Conor McGregor. We’ll just wait and see.”

“I think the fight will happen,” Mayweather said later. “We have to give the people what they want to see. If he signed a contract, when I get back in the US, I’ll communicate with my team and get Al, Leonard, and Steve on a call, what’s our next move. Most likely when we do make a move it’ll be a huge one. You already know, when Floyd Mayweather fights, it’s history. The only thing I’m doing now is chasing my own records.”

“If I do fight, it’s a 90% chance it’s against Conor McGregor,” Mayweather said. “The only fight that makes sense to me is Conor McGregor and it’s possible this fight could be made quickly … Conor McGregor is a professional and a stand-up fighter. He kicks ass in the Octagon while I kick ass in the boxing ring. At the end of the day, it’s all ass kicking.”

So is it actually ever going to happen? To me, these two guys have spent so much time talking about it, I don’t see any way that it doesn’t at this point.

However, most fight fans, much like McGregor, are getting very tired of waiting for an official announcement and eventually many will just up and stop caring. (At least until the inevitable barrage of trash talk fires up again.)
