So, who had Liam Neeson beefing with Conor McGregor on their 2023 bingo cards?! No one?

Because that is a thing that is currently happening.

That’s right. Liam Neeson apparently has no love for his fellow Irishman Conor McGregor, calling him a “little leprechaun” and saying he “gives Ireland a bad name.”

In a recent interview with Men’s Health, the 70-year-old action movie star blasted the UFC and took special aim at “The Notorious One.”

“UFC I can’t stand. That to me is like a bar fight,” the actor said. “I know the practitioners are like, ‘no, you’re wrong — the months of training we do …’ Why don’t you just grab a beer bottle and hit the other guy over the head? That’s the next stage of the UFC. I hate it. … That little leprechaun Conor McGregor, he gives Ireland a bad name. I know he’s fit, and I admire him for that. But I can’t take it.”

Neeson added (not really), “What I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.”

Incredibly, Conor McGregor, 34, did not shoot his mouth off and say something awful about Liam Neeson in response.

Instead, he appears to have just sub-tweeted Neeson the next day.

Perhaps, McGregor has seen Taken, Taken 2, Taken 3, Unknown, Non-Stop, Run All Night, The Commuter, Honest Thief, The Marksman, Blacklight, and Memory and decided to err on the side of caution.

After all, he has already missed over a year and a half of fighting since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier.

Probably best not to take any chances now that he’s finally getting back into the octagon to face Michael Chandler after coaching The Ultimate Fighter, Season 31, which will air May 30th through Aug. 15.
