On Tuesday, Conor McGregor startled the world by abruptly retiring causing Dana White to announce that the featherweight champion was pulled from UFC 200. The stunning developments sent shock waves throughout the MMA world and fighters reacted with varied emotions on Twitter.
There was also no shortage of fighters gladly willing to swoop in and take McGregor’s place at UFC 200.
This gives Dana White little time to fill the card at UFC 200 which goes down on July 9 in Las Vegas. The co-main event is Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar, but as of right now, the UFC’s website lists the main event as “To Be Announced” vs. “To Be Determined.”
