During Tuesday’s bonkers first press conference with Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor the two combatants faced off toe-to-toe on a couple of very intense occasions.

The first staredown was pretty much just McGregor trying to clown Mayweather while Floyd stayed pretty much stone-faced…

The second staredown, however, was a bit more animated by both parties…

So the million dollar thought on everyone’s mind, including UFC fighter “The Karate Hottie” Michelle Waterson was…

“I wish I could hear what Connor was saying.”

Well, thanks to Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting interviewing McGregor after the presser we now have some idea…

“He was trying to say something about the [10 oz.] gloves and I was like ‘You cried about the gloves’. He cried about the ounces of the gloves. Then he tried to say ‘MMA next, we’ll do’.”

“I was like ‘You’re talking shit about stuff that you won’t do’. Other than that it was just back-and-forth. The usual shite.”

McGregor also shared the fact that he had zero idea that he was going to have to give a speech during the proceedings so he just winged it.

“I didn’t get told nothing. I didn’t know [there were going to be] speeches. It’s a completely different format [to UFC press conferences].”

“Before Dana went up, he was like, ‘You got a speech?’ I’ve got no fuckin’ speech.”

“I just rolled up and started talking shite. I had fun. That’s the main thing.”

Also, for those who were watching, there were a few moments while Mayweather was talking that McGregor grabbed a microphone but he was cut off so we couldn’t hear what he was saying.

With regard to that happening McGregor had this to say to reporters according to MMA Fighting

“Yeah, they took the mic off,” McGregor told print reporters. “Look, f*ck them. F*ck Showtime. F*ck them all. They can do nothing after Aug. 26. They can try and do all these tricks all they want. Aug. 26, this man will be unconscious. He’s too small, he’s too frail. That’s it. What more can I say?”

Considering he has three more of these to do, he better think of something. Which I have no doubt that he will.
