Conor McGregor appears interested in fighting in Donald Trump’s White House UFC card. On Thursday night, Trump announced that he and Dana White are planning on holding a UFC event on the White House grounds for next year’s 250th anniversary celebration on the 4th of July.

“We’re gonna have a UFC fight on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there, we’re gonna build…Dana’s gonnna do it, he’s great, one of a kind…

“It will be a UFC fight, a championship fight, full fight like 20-25,000 people, and we’re gonna do that as part of 250 also.”

McGregor, who visited the White House earlier this year, nominated himself to be featured on the card.

Considering that McGregor hasn’t fought in three years, it’s probably unlikely that he will lace the gloves next year.
