It appears we’ve just entered a new era of trick shots, one in which trick shots have essentially become equal parts trick shot and Rube Goldberg machines. This one begins with a golf putt, and the shot then travels down several flights of stairs before connecting with a pool cue and setting off a string of events spanning nine billiards tables before the ball ultimately falls into the cup.
I honestly don’t even know if it’s fair to call this a trick shot because it really is a Rube Goldberg machine in construction. If you’re not familiar with Rube Goldberg machines but you want to see what I’m talking about, you can check out this clip I threw up before Christmas of the World’s Largest Rube Goldberg Machine…With that said, it is somewhat fair to call this a trick shot because after all, it was launched by a putt and it ends with a golf ball falling into the cup.
