It’s Official (Maybe)! Cris Cyborg Will Be The Next Opponent Destroyed By Ronda Rousey

Tito Ortiz announced that the UFC has officially offered Cris Cyborg a fight against Ronda Rousey.

The UFC Hall of Famer was on Inside MMA last night and claimed that his friend Cris Cyborg had been offered a fight against Rousey at the rumored UFC event this fall in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Here’s a clip from the appearance.

“I’ve heard from Cris [Justino] actually that the fight that’s supposed to be happening at the Cowboy’s arena… they offered the fight to Cris. I know her management said yes and I’ve told her, ‘Let’s do it.’ So I guess the ball’s all in Ronda [Rousey]’s corner and Ronda wants to do it. Dana said if Cris came down to 135 they’ll make the fight happen, so let’s see if Ronda accepts the fight,” Tito said.

Cyborg backed up her ex-managers claim on social media, posting this tweet after the appearance.

“”

Naturally, UFC President Dana White is calling Ortiz a liar because UFC would want to make an announcement of this magnitude.

“100 percent a lie. … Tito Ortiz is just making this shit up. In no way, shape or form did we offer her a fight against Ronda at Cowboys Stadium. Completely untrue.” — Dana White

It’s going to happen. It doesn’t matter who announces it, or when, it’s only a matter of time and money. Mostly money.
