Over the last 8 days D’Andre Swift’s NFL career has been quite the roller coaster.

Early last week, he was going to be competing with recent signing David Montgomery for snaps for the Detroit Lions with the hopes he could become the team’s starter again.

Then the Lions shocked the football world and drafted Jahmyr Gibbs with the 12th overall pick in the NFL Draft.

A day later, the Lions traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles, a team where he seemingly has a much better chance of being their RB1.

Today, it was revealed that Swift would be wearing the number 0 in his first season in Philly and one Twitter user took advantage of the news to troll the Dallas Cowboys.

A user going by the alias Marlo Stanfield tweeted that Swift said he chose the number because it’s the number of NFC Championship Game appearances the Dallas Cowboys have made in his lifetime.

Cowboys star Micah Parson saw the tweet and quickly responded before later deleting his tweet.

It has to be a real sore spot for any Dallas Cowboys player that the team hasn’t been able to make a strong playoff run since the 90s.

Meanwhile they’ve watched the New York Giants win a pair of Super Bowls and the Philadelphia appear in 3 over the last 20 years.

Those struggles have come despite big expectations year after year and regular disappointment in the playoffs.

Now Dallas Cowboys fans will have to hope that D’Andre Swift doesn’t add to their disappointment this season.
