Everyone has been awaiting more information regarding Damar Hamlin since the incident on Monday night.
Well, we’ve finally received some good news, however, it’s not fully over with just yet.
According to Coley Harvey, family spokesman Jordan Rooney claims that “doctors overnight got promising readings that they had been hoping to see this morning.” Although he can’t go into specifics, it sounds like Damar Hamlin is making progress.
Just chatted with Damar Hamlin’s family friend @jordonr.
Per Jordon and Damar’s family, doctors overnight got promising readings that they had been hoping to see by this morning. Jordon couldn’t go into specifics, but progress appears to be made.

Although this is good news, there is still some caution surrounding the situation. Especially considering Damar Hamlin “is still sedated and in critical condition in the ICU,” per Coley Harvey. With that said, this is a good first step, but Jordan Rooney mentions that there is still “a long way to go” in Hamlin’s recovery.
Want to be sure I reiterate that although a small, hopeful step appears to have been made, Jordon did mention that Damar still has a long way to go in his recovery. But the family’s optimism remains high and steady as it’s been throughout all of this.

At the very least, optimism is becoming more apparent for everyone. More information will eventually come to fruition, as Damar Hamlin continues fighting. Hopefully, the next update will bring even better news than this one.
