Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions are struggling. They are 1-4 on the season and looking at similar results to last year which is disheartening considering they thought they’d really improved in the offseason.
The Lions got ROUTED on Sunday by the Patriots who had their backup quarterback in action. Dan Campbell’s team lost 29-0 to Matt Patricia and the Patriots. And afterward, the Lions head coach attempted to put the loss in perspective and it got dark.
Dan Campbell Put The 29-0 Shutout Loss To The Patriots In Perspective
Campbell said “Look, you just you be honest with them. You tell them exactly what it is. To me, it’s about as bad as it gets. This is the worst. This is where we’re at. And sometimes, it’s going to get bad before it gets better. And, I believe we hit rock bottom. So now, the only place to go is back up.”

Dan Campbell has won over a lot of Lions fans with his words but that has yet to translate into results on the field. It appears he’s starting to lose the optimism of some fans, at least based on Twitter…
Lol we’ve hit rock bottom about 20 times the last 60 years

They are down bad:
Dan Gamble, Dan Gamble, Dan Gamble. We experienced Lions fans have heard it all before…..
This organization should have "one playoff win since 1957" plastered outside the entry so management and players know what they are getting into
Hard Knocks you got me, you really did!!

The Detroit Lions now have a bye before facing the Cowboys, Dolphins, Packers, and Bears. They’ll be lucky to get one win out of that given their recent results.
