Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky did it again. He tweeted out something about his personal hygiene habits that sent people on social media spiraling.

As many sports fans will recall, Orlovsky revealed this past March in response to a Marlon Humphrey tweet that he uses a bath towel 30 times before he washes it.

Everyone, including Brandel Chamblee and Robert Griffin III, roasted him for his disgusting towel habits.

Apparently not being the type of person who learns from his social media mistakes, Dan Orlovsky sent out another tweet on Tuesday night that caused a bit of controversy.

“Acceptable amount of days to go without showering in the summer as long as you go in the pool?” he randomly tweeted. “I say 2-3.”

Shortly thereafter, Orlovsky amended his tweet to read, “Acceptable amount of days to go without showering in the summer as long as you go in the pool (salt water pool)?” he randomly tweeted. “I say 2.”

As if adding (salt water pool) and reducing the number of days to two was going to help get him out of the hole he dug for himself.

This time, however, he was forced to delete his tweet about his questionable hygiene because his wife had apparently had enough.

That didn’t do much to slow down the negative reactions. In fact, it may have made it worse.

He did leave his tweet replying to Patrick Mahomes calling him out though.

Orlovsky’s initial comment and subsequent takes sparked quite a frenzy on social media.

“And u are truly disgusting. Especially when u add that you use the same towel to dry off with for 15 showers I believe is what u said,” Booger McFarland tweeted at Orlovsky.

To which he replied, “I got videos of you on the internet leaking wd-40 out your pores and I’m disgusting? I’m clean y’all just divas.”

And on it went…
