The inaugural Power Slap pay-per-view will take place on Saturday, March 11, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Sports Illustrated has learned.

UFC Fight Night’s main card, headlined by a critical bantamweight bout pitting Petr Yan against Merab Dvalishvili, will run earlier that night at 6 p.m. ET from The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas

The first-ever Power Slap champions will be crowned at the pay-per-view in four different weight classes, including heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, and welterweight. Undefeated slap fighter Darius “The Destroyer” Mata-Varona and “Wolverine” Ron Bata–who are the two coaches on Power Slap–will compete for the heavyweight title.

Despite receiving backlash and controversy, Power Slap grew 40 percent in ratings from week 1 to week 2.

Power Slap has also seen explosive growth on social media, especially on TikTok where the league currently boasts 1.5 million followers with hundreds of millions of views.

There’s still no word on the PPV price as of yet.

Power Slap’s third episode will air this Wednesday, with the final episode set to air on March 8.
