PSA: Darrelle Revis Would Like Everyone To Know That Women Find Him More Attractive Than Richard Sherman

I’m a Jets fan. Get your jokes in now cause folks, let me tell ya, I’ve heard ’em all. They don’t even bother me anymore. In fact, I’m largely responsible for making said jokes. No one shits on the Jets the way that I shit on the Jets — it’s what makes rooting for them fun! You’re trippin’ if you don’t think I’ve already got a gang of material cooked up for when Gang Green ultimately botch their first-round pick in tonight’s NFL Draft.

Luckily for Jets fans, while we may never have a competent organization, we did draft one of the greatest cornerbacks to ever play the game, and that was Darrelle Revis.

I know most of you probably remember Revis Island, as a Jets fan, it was just somethin’ different. Think about how miserable my Jets fandom has been: that, like, three-year Rex Ryan run were the best Jets teams I ever saw, and a lot of that had to do with Revis. Just look at this man’s genuinely outrageous 2009 season, where he essentially spent the entire year locking up the league’s best receivers.

Like most icons though, Revis eventually grew tired of the Jets and moved on with his career, playing his last few seasons in Tampa Bay, New England (where he won a Super Bowl), and the Kansas City Chiefs. Still, because of his generational greatness, I still root for him like he’s one of our own, which means it goes without saying that I find his on-going beef with Richard Sherman absolutely hilarious, especially this latest chapter that sees Revis taking aim at Sherman’s looks. What a world we live in.
