Las Vegas Raiders superstar wide receiver Davante Adams wants Tom Brady to come out of retirement and play with him.

Like, really, really wants Brady to come out of retirement and play with him.

Adams recently joined Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay podcast and nearly leapt out of his seat when Sharpe discussed the option of teaming with Brady.

“Tom Brady, would you ev-…how old is Brady,” Sharpe begins to say without ever finishing a question.

But he didn’t need to.

“Hell yes,” Adams said in response, sending both he and Sharpe into laughter.

“When you said ‘Tom Brady’ I knew what you’re saying ‘lemme see what he’s about to say’ and then you got to talking about how old he is,” Adams said with a huge smile on his face. “I don’t care.”

“You would take Tom at 57, 58,” Sharpe then asked, incredulously.

“58!,” Adams answered. “Tom knows about how I feel about him, man. The other part about it is I think I’d be the first person to play with Tom and Aaron (Rodgers). So that’d be pretty cool.”

Adams rose to stardom with Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, but forced a trade to the Raiders when it was apparent that Green Bay could let Rodgers leave, a move he now regrets.

He’s continued to star in Las Vegas, but poor quarterback play has made life difficult and it’s abundantly clear he wants Las Vegas to either figure out the quarterback position or find him a new team.

“He’s getting older, but he’s gotta still be able to throw it better than half these dudes in the league,” Adams said of Brady, stopping short of saying that Brady has to be better than what he’s playing with.

Brady, meanwhile, has been trying for months to purchase an ownership stake in the Raiders; a deal that still hasn’t gone through.

But if it does, maybe he and majority owner Mark Davis get some ideas about a return to the field…
