Dawn Staley has built an absolute powerhouse at South Carolina. The Gamecocks are, arguably, the premier Women’s College Basketball program in the country.
Staley, who was an incredible player in her own right back in the day, isn’t just known for her coaching prowess. She’s also a fashion icon, and showed that off on Sunday with a *very pricy designer sweatsuit, only to see her team get blown out by Paige Bueckers and UConn in the NCAA Championship Game.
Staley has won three national titles at South Carolina, and has churned out WNBA stars. The three-time Olympic Gold Medalist has also served as Team USA’s coach, helping them to two golds the last two Olympics (coaches in the Olympics do not receive medals).
As previously mentioned, Staley loves fashion, and rarely opts for team garb in favor of more flashy outfits. That was the case on Sunday as she took on Geno Auriemma and the Huskies.
Take a look at her sweatsuit. It’s not just some ordinary sweatsuit.

According to Front Office Sports, the tracksuit goes for $7600, which makes sense, as it’s Louis Vuitton. Staley loves the Brand, and has been seen numerous times wearing something from that brand.
She might not want to wear that outfit again, though. South Carolina was dominated nearly start to finish by Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd, Sarah Strong, and UConn. They led by more than 30 in the 4th quarter as they cruised homem to an 82-59 win, denying the Gamecocks their fourth title.
