In case you weren’t aware, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is returning from his six week suspension for performance enhancing drugs this week.
And just to make sure that everyone is aware of this fact, Hopkins put together a special hype video celebrating his return that must have taken him all six weeks of his suspension to create.
“We know he’s not the savior,” Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury cautioned this week. “We can’t expect the guy to come in after a year off and change everything for us, but it will definitely help after some of the struggles we’ve had offensively.”
“We’ve still got things we need to fix,” Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray also said about Hopkins’ return. “Obviously, having him back definitely helps, but we’ve still got to be better in all the areas that we’re not good in right now.”
Hopkins, 30, will be making his 2022 NFL season debut Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints and if his hype video is any indication he will probably go off for around 20 receptions for 400 yards and six touchdowns.
DeAndre Hopkins appears to be expecting big things to happen now that he is back
The video really has everything. Antonio Brown is probably sitting somewhere wishing he could still put out a video just like it.
There’s “Free DHop” being shined into the sky like the bat signal. Hopkins shows up in something that looks like the bat cave and watches a couple of welcome back videos from Snoop Dogg and Odell Beckham, Jr. who says, “Please don’t call it a comeback.”
Of course, that naturally leads into LL Cool J’s hit single “Don’t Call It A Comeback.”

That, right there, is a whole lot of hype. DHop better hope the opening night of his “Don’t Call It A Comeback, Comeback Tour” doesn’t turn out to be a flop.
this whole video just to put up 5.3 fantasy points this week

“Love the hype video but he does realize he’s returning to a QB who is ranked lower than Rusell Wilson and that guy is hoisting invisible Lombardi Trophies before the start of Broncos games,” another NFL fan tweeted.
Dont call it a comeback....but its a comeback tour🤔❓❓

Quit messing with his vibe.
"I'm back from my PED suspension !! Let's go !!" About the same excitement level as when PP21 got busted. Now that you're cleared to play - go do your job. Thanks so much.
