Deion Sanders believes rival coaches and teams are to beat him and not his team.
Over the weekend, Oregon put a beat down on Colorado, and their mascot went viral mocking Sanders after the game.

During his postgame press conference, Sanders told the media that he thinks teams are targeting him instead of his team going into games.
“I don’t think there’s a target on our back, I think there’s just — teams are trying to beat me. They’re not trying to beat our team,” Sanders said. “They keep forgetting, I’m not playing anymore. I had a great career. I’m serious. I’ve got a gold jacket. I’m good. But that’s what it really is.
“I don’t think they get any extra satisfaction, you know. It is what it is. I signed up for it, so let’s go.”

There could be some truth to Deion’s comments.
According to FS1’s Keyshawn Johnson, Oregon got help from other teams to gameplan against Colorado.
“You were talking about the jealousy and the way these coaches (talk) and how Deion got there,” Johnson said to co-host Skip Bayless. “It’s interesting that you said that…So I spoke to somebody in the coaching fraternity right after the game. And they know some people that coach at Oregon. And they (were) telling me, they said ‘man, I’ve never heard from another assistant coach (about) how much information was being given to that staff about game planning against Colorado so they can beat ’em.”
As long as Deion keeps getting publicity, there’s going to be a target on his back.
