Deion Sanders Rips Pac-12 Over Late Kickoff Time For Colorado’s Next Game

Deion Sanders apparently isn’t a big fan of Pac-12 After Dark.

On Friday night, Colorado is scheduled to play Stanford at 8 pm CST/10 pm EST on ESPN.

While speaking to the media on Wednesday, Sanders called the late kickoff time “the dumbest thing ever.”

“Who makes these 8 o’clock games? That is the dumbest thing ever. It’s the stupidest thing ever in life. Who wants to stay up until 8 o’clock for a dern game?” Sanders said. “What about the East Coast? Do they even care about ratings or anybody watching it?”

Sanders went on to take a parting shot at the Pac-12.

“Thank God we’re not gonna be in this conference,” said Sanders as Colorado leaves for the Big 12 next year, which means they will play more games in the Central and Eastern time zones.

Despite Sanders’ comments, Colorado-Stanford will probably still generate decent ratings considering the 10 pm EST game between Colorado and Colorado State earlier this season crushed in the ratings department.
